Can I delete all tasks in a column?

The simplest way to do this is to select all tasks in the column, right click the selection and hit Delete.

If mass-deletion is a regular part of your process, you can also enable the Delete All function using the Developer Tools power-up.

Deleting all tasks with a Developer Tools script

To activate it:

  • Go to Settings → Power-Ups and enable Developer Tools.
  • In the Developer Tools dialogue window, add this link:
    /scripts/delete-all/delete-all.js
  • This will allow you to delete all tasks in any column, by right-clicking an empty area inside it and choosing Delete all.

Please note that instead of deleting tasks, we strongly recommend archiving them. Archived tasks stay available for process analysis without cluttering your board, whereas deleted tasks will be gone for good.
