How do I set up a new user?
Use the share option on the dashboard, or from any board
A share link is available on the dashboard - next to each board and folder. For quicker access, it is also listed on each board, next to Tools and Settings, in the top-right corner.
The share option is only visible to account owners, admins and project managers. To add a new person to your account:
- Click share to open the item’s access settings.
- Click on Add new person, and fill the form.
- Choose full access to allow the invited person to create, modify, move and delete tasks. After that, this user will have access to this board or folder only. To give the team member access to more boards, share each of them individually, in the same manner.
You can also add users through the People tab, just click Add new person, and fill in the form
If you want for the new user to automatically get access to a specific set of boards, include them in a user group - from the “groups” setting.
To allow a user to view all boards and folders, give them the account administrator privilege.
You can also import team member details with a .csv file
If you have a .csv file with people you would like to add to the account, you can import their details at once.
Can’t see the share options?
If you do not see the share option, it means one of two things:

you are not an account owner/admin,
in which case please contact an admin so that they either invite new team members on your behalf, or increase your access rights. -
you are inside a folder view, and not in the dashboard,
in which case, exit the folder - go back to the dashboard (youraccount.kanbantool.com) and share the entire folder with someone. When boards are placed in a folder, they lose their individual sharing options, which are transferred up to the entire folder.
